Delete your DragCodeX account

This page explains how to delete your DragCodeX account and the personal data associated with it.

Delete instantly, in the app

The fastest way is self-service, inside the app: go to Profile → Settings → Delete account, confirm, and your account is deleted immediately — you don't need to wait for us or contact anyone. This is the recommended way to delete your account.

Alternative: request by email

If you can't access the app (for example, you're locked out), you can request deletion by email instead:

  1. Send an email to privacy@DragCodeX.app from the same email address used for your DragCodeX account.
  2. Use the subject line DragCodeX account deletion request.
  3. Include the email (or username) of the account you want deleted.

We will verify ownership of the account and process the request within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or for security / dispute resolution). This path is slower than deleting in the app because it requires manual verification.

When your account is deleted — immediately if done in the app, or once we process an email request — we remove or irreversibly anonymize:

We may keep limited records for a short additional period when required for security, abuse prevention, backups, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Aggregated or anonymized analytics that cannot identify you are not personal data and may remain.

Partial data deletion (without closing the account)

Today, DragCodeX offers account deletion as described above. To clear specific in-app data (for example favorites) without deleting the whole account, you can remove it inside the app where available, or email privacy@DragCodeX.app with your request.
